This park is a must visit on your passport experience. With a selection of shrubs, trees and flowers, a fountain, benches and sidewalk chess and checkerboards, you won’t want to miss it. Why is it called St. Andrews Park? When Tiverton was first founded, St. Andrews was what it was called. When they opened a post office, town residents realized there was already a town called St. Andrews, so they changed the name to Tiverton. This park was created in 2009 to commemorate Tiverton heritage, and give a quiet place for residents and visitors to take a rest.

While you’re in the area take a wander down the street to check out Crafts & Stuff or grab a meal at the Kings Pearl. Take a tour at the worlds largest operating nuclear power plant at Bruce Power, just 10 minutes away. Visiting the Bruce Power Visitor Centre is a fantastic way to learn about nuclear energy and how Bruce Power provides 30% of Ontario’s power. This 2,300-acre facility is open for pre-registered bus tours during the summer.
