A short stroll of the main street, 1st Avenue, will offer glimpses of beautiful buildings rich in history from the Chesley Post Office, to the gorgeous Presbyterian Reformed and Lutheran churches. Widen your walk a couple of blocks and more picturesque churches, manicured lawns, and serene parks await.

In addition to finding your Digital Bonus Stop in Chesley, and snapping your way into a chance to in, here’s a few of our favourite spots:


  1. French Fry Vending Machine – Yup you read that right! Bring a toonie and get yourself a hot cup of fries. Bring your own Ketchup or Mayo! Hit up Side Street Pizza and you’ll find the vending machine on the side of the building.
  2. Big Bruce – No trip to Chesley is complete without a visit to Big Bruce! The towns 15-foot-high cow is easily the most photographed mascot around, stop in for a selfie, you know you want to!
  3. Klages Mill & Garden – The Mill was originally built in 1955 and was rebuilt in 1957 following a fire. This gorgeous mill and garden has doubled in size since 1994 when its current owners purchased it. Now operating as a special occasion hall, the gardens are open to visitors.
  4. Krug Memorial Park – Named in honour of the Krug family who operated the successful local furniture manufacturing business from 1886 to 1987, this lovely park is located nearby the meandering northern Saugeen River. Stop in for an al fresco lunch with the serene sounds of the Saugeen as your soundtrack.
