Advisory: Georgian Bay Trail (to Grotto) is muddy
June 24, 2010 Please note that due to trail resurfacing work and heavy rainfall, some sections of the Georgian Bay trail (most direct way to the Grotto) are currently muddy. Please wear footwear for muddy conditions, or hike an alternate trail (either Horse Lake Trail or Marr Lake Trail) to access the Grotto and Georgian Bay shoreline. Check with national park staff for a map
and route suggestions. Sorry for the inconvenience.
