Advisory: Georgian Bay Trail (to Grotto) is muddy
June 24, 2010
Please note that due to trail resurfacing work and heavy rainfall, some
sections of the Georgian Bay trail (most direct way to the Grotto) are
currently muddy. Please wear footwear for muddy conditions, or hike an
alternate trail (either Horse Lake Trail or Marr Lake Trail) to access the
Grotto and Georgian Bay shoreline. Check with national park staff for a map
and route suggestions. Sorry for the inconvenience.

That’s right you picked it. We asked for your favourite place on the Bruce for an Adventure Passport stop and the Grotto won hands down. Voted Canada’s Hidden Travel Gem in 2009 by fellow Canadians, this place rocks!!
There is a day-use fee. It’s an easy 45 min walk out to the Georgian Bay shoreline from the Head of Trails.
The clue is located at the Head of Trails.
