It began as a log church and later turned into a red-brick beauty. Today, the property is kept clean but only ruins remain on “Ferguson’s Settlement.”
While you are here:
Bring your mountain bikes and hit up the Brant Tract trails
- The sweetest riding around – the Brant Tract consists of 20km of flowing single-track trail designed for mountain biking and hiking.
- There is 10km of double-track trail for multi-use and equestrian riders.
- There is also a specially designed wheelchair accessible trail adjacent to the parking area.
- There are easy to difficult trails for all types of riders + it’s FREE!
Cool down at the Chesley Community Park
- The Chesley Community Park is a terrific place to spend your leisure time.
- There is an outdoor seasonal swimming pool, a cool splash park, a skateboard park, and plenty of playground equipment.
- Bring your fishing pole and see what you can catch or put your canoe in the river and enjoy the oasis around you.
- The park also has a picnic pavilion and plenty of picnic table so you can enjoy a meal.
