More Info & Historical Significance: Bruce County purchased Tracks of land, like the Lindsay, in the 20th century to preserve our forests. Did you know that settlers who purchased Peninsula property were given money for planting trees along roadways?

The Lindsay Tract is Bruce County’s largest managed forest boasting more than 7000-acres of mixed hardwood and softwood. Single and double track trails offer adventures for mountain bikers, horseback riders and hikers. Some trails are accessible for those who experience disabilities and offer rest areas. Remember, Bruce County is a nature lovers’ paradise and the Lindsay Tract is no exception. Bruce up on your wilderness safety, just in case you run into an Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake or Black Bear.
