Flowerpot Island worth the side trip

Hiking flowerpot island is certainly a side trip you should take, even given the price of the boat ride out there.
It’s a beautiful loop trail, going along the shoreline to the two flowerpots and then to the top of the island where the museum and a lookout are, then back down to the shore via two sets of what they call “steep” stairs.
Steep is an understatement. They are so steep as to almost be ladders. Luckily there are spots for rests!
Bring your walking sticks – this is a more challenging spot to hike.
